October is Hunger Awareness Month and Donate Your Weight is committed to raising awareness about overcoming habit and emotional hunger while also raising money for starving children in the world.

Many people struggle with weight and eating because of emotional and habit hunger. One example of habit hunger is when you "Finish everything on your plate, to help starving children" even though you're not hungry and overeating doesn't help starving children. This month, Donate Your Weight challenges to you: 1) to honor your hunger and only eat for physical hunger and 2) to TRULY help the starving children in Africa by donating to CARE through the Donate Your Weight.org website.

You will get a raffle ticket for each $10 you donate to CARE via www.donateyourweight.org ($10=1 ticket, $20=2 tickets, etc.) before October 31, 2007. Each raffle ticket will make you eligible to one of win many prizes and all prizes are designed to help you take control of your eating, your weight and your life.
