“I am so tired of dieting! I listen to all the Donate Your Weight podcasts and CDs.I figured I had lost and gained so much weight by dieting all these years (since I was 12 and I'm now 57) this philosophy couldn't hurt anymore than what I had already done. I was shocked to see that the idea of eating what I want when I'm hungry and stopping eating when I'm full, really worked. It took the stress out of always worrying what I would eat. In the past, "How is this going to affect the diet I'm on this time?" would always go through my head. I was so confused, I didn't even want to eat anymore-everything was bad for me. I don't dread Mondays and a new diet, anymore.

"I have been meaning to write to you for months now.  I have been a listener of the podcast and cd's for quite a while, we have connected before but it's been a while.  Anyway, I haven't been actively listening to the cd's and podcast lately because I am pregnant with my third son and haven't been too focused on eating because of the nausea at the beginning and food aversions through the rest.  I am due in a month or so and have been thinking how thankful I am that I found your "program" when I did.  I have noticed a big difference in this pregnancy from my others.  This time around I don't feel obligated to eat at any time or any certain foods or any set quantities.  I have just stuck to what you taught me and only eaten when I'm hungry and had what I am really hungry for.  I know the scale shouldn't be too important to me BUT since the doctor weighs me at each visit it's hard to ignore that I have gained exactly the ideal amount of weight.  Before Donate your Weight when pregnant I would eat what I thought I should eat and THEN what I wanted to eat!  Then I would have a hard time getting "on track" after the babies were born."
